Well, it looks as if Adobe is going to release a Beta version of the next version of Photoshop that is a Universal binary for Macintosh. That should help the MacPro sell a few more machines, as the current version (PowerPC) performs quite anemic for many tasks. According to reports, this new version is really fast on Intel Macintoshes. Makes me wonder how a program as complex as Photoshop can be ported over faster than any of the MS Office apps can. Hmm, maybe Microsoft could borrow some of the Adobe software engineers! Anyways, the link to the press release is here. Boy, there servers are gonna be hammered tomorrow.
